Composite fiberboards
I was commissioned to design an installation for two walls located inside a private house lift shaft in Tel Aviv. This wall mounted work is experienced through a vertical movement while taking the glass lift up and down the house’s three floors.
The Tel Aviv Bauhaus building from the 1930′s inspired me to come up with an idea for a series of 7 different horizontal panels/ lines which can be combined together to create a changing pattern.>>>
Inspired by the Bauhaus simple geometric forms and particularly by Anni Albers and Gunta Stölzl textiles from that period, the panels reflect the original building design and its architectural characteristics.
Each of the panels was designed so that  it can be combined with any of the others. This open system allows for a certain level of randomness and for a final result which could not be completely predicted.

‘Stanzas’ project has been named as a Finalist at the Surface Design Awards 2016
The winners will be announced on Thursday 11th February 2016 at a ceremony taking place at Surface Design Show in the Business Design Centre in Islington, London.
